What it is

Hitch Installation, done right.

A hitch is only as good as how it’s mounted and wired. We match the hitch to your truck and what you tow, mount it to the frame with the right hardware and torque, and wire the trailer connector and brake controller so lights, brakes and breakaway work the first time. Bolt-on receivers, under-bed gooseneck systems and heavy 5th wheel setups — including B&W hitches — are all done in-house.

Straight answers

Hitch Installation FAQ.

How much does trailer hitch installation cost?

It comes down to the hitch type, your truck and the wiring it needs. A bolt-on receiver on a truck with factory wiring is a much smaller job than a gooseneck or 5th wheel with a brake controller. Tell us the truck and what you tow and we’ll quote the full install.

Gooseneck or 5th wheel — which do I need?

Your trailer decides. Stock, flatbed and equipment trailers usually use a gooseneck coupler; most campers and RVs use a 5th wheel kingpin. Some trucks can be set up to run both — we’ll help you pick.

My truck has a factory gooseneck prep package. Does that help?

Yes. Many newer Ford, Ram and GM trucks come with factory under-bed mounting points, which makes gooseneck and 5th wheel installs cleaner and faster. We’ll confirm what your truck has when you book.

Can you install a gooseneck in a bed with a spray-in liner?

Yes. The bed openings are cut cleanly and finished so the hitch and liner work together. If you’re planning both, we can do the liner and the hitch in the same visit.

Do you install brake controllers and trailer wiring?

Yes — 4 and 7-pin connectors, in-dash brake controllers and trailer wiring, all tested before the truck leaves the shop.

Where are you located?

We’re in Rockwall, TX, and set up trucks for customers from Heath, Rowlett, Royse City, Fate and Forney. Tell us where you’re coming from when you request a quote and we’ll set up a time.
